What we collect
When you enquire, book or stay with us, we may collect your name, contact details, postal address, booking dates, guest details, vehicle information, accommodation preferences, special requests, correspondence and payment or transaction information. If you tell us about accessibility, health or emergency needs, we use that information only to help arrange your stay and respond safely.
Our website and hosting providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages visited and security logs. The site uses essential browser storage for features such as your booking selection and the weather display. For guest and property safety, CCTV may operate in selected public areas of the park.
How we collect information
We collect information directly from you by phone, email, at reception and through our website. We may also receive it from GuestPoint, payment providers, travel agents or booking platforms when you make or manage a reservation through them.
Why we use it
- to check availability, provide prices and create or manage your booking;
- to process payments, refunds and security deposits;
- to communicate arrival information, changes and service messages;
- to provide requested services and help keep guests, staff and the park safe;
- to maintain records, prevent misuse and meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations; and
- to improve our services and website.
If required information is not provided, we may be unable to complete a booking or provide a requested service.
Who we share it with
We share only what is reasonably needed with service providers that help us operate, including GuestPoint, payment processors, website hosting, email and booking platforms. We may also disclose information where required by law, to emergency services, or where reasonably necessary to protect a person or property. We do not sell your personal information.
Some providers may process or store information outside Australia. Their privacy terms and the laws of those locations may apply. Google Maps, Google Fonts and Open-Meteo may receive technical request information when their features load in your browser.
Payments, security and retention
Payment details entered during booking are sent to the relevant booking or payment provider for processing. We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service is completely risk-free, so please contact us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, dispute and record-keeping requirements. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove identifying details.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain. We may need to confirm your identity and may decline a request where the law permits or requires us to do so. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why where appropriate.
